Contract Programme Lead – Digital Commerce Transformation
Manchester hub (Specific working requirements and hybrid/remote split are still being finalised, so a flexible approach is required)
Outside IR35 / Day Rate to be confirmed
This is a 6-month dual-track contract blending enterprise tech deployment with real commercial e-commerce strategy
Role Overview
We are partnered with a leading global consumer brands business undergoing a major digital commerce evolution. They need an experienced Contract Programme Lead to step in immediately and take full ownership of two critical, interconnected strategic initiatives.

The Brief
Programme 1 (PIM Deployment): Take total ownership of delivering the Salsify PIM platform. You will be the central point of coordination between Marketing, E-commerce, Sales, and Global IT, whilst managing the relationship with Salsify and their Strategic Implementation Partner.
Programme 2 (Digital Shelf Analytics Strategy): Lead the evaluation, vendor scorecarding, and business case formulation for their future DSA ecosystem. You will lead the comparative assessment across CommerceIQ, Profitero, Pacvue, and Acorn-i before mapping out the future operating model and deployment plan.
What We Look For
- Salsify Blueprint: Proven track record leading complex Salsify PIM implementations (essential).
- Digital Shelf Expertise: Deep familiarity with DSA tools (Profitero, CommerceIQ, Pacvue, etc.) and retail media integration.
- Sector Background: Experience working within FMCG, CPG, or Consumer Goods manufacturing.
- Business Transformation: Exceptional stakeholder management—the ability to bridge the gap between IT data taxonomy and commercial sales ROI.
