Program PMO Lead | Oxford (Hybrid)
12 Month contract – Potential of extending
We're looking for a Program PMO Lead to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of a large, multi-workstream transformation programme. You'll partner closely with senior leadership, providing governance, oversight and delivery confidence while helping project teams stay aligned, focused and on track.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and maintain programme governance, standards and best practices.
- Build and oversee programme plans, milestones and cross-project dependencies.
- Develop executive dashboards, KPIs and programme reporting.
- Drive risk, issue and change management across multiple workstreams.
- Challenge and support project teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate governance forums, decision logs and programme documentation.
- Promote continuous improvement and leverage AI and project management tools to improve delivery efficiency.

What we need from you:
- Proven experience leading PMO activities within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong background in programme governance, planning, reporting and delivery assurance.
- Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and change control.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage and influence senior leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Clarity PPM, Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
- Knowledge of recognised project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP, P3O or PMP is highly desirable.
