The Role

As Program Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the Markem-Imaje Thermal Transfer Product Division team, accountable for the cross-functional product development activities from specification through prototyping, industrialisation and launch for innovative new products entering our global markets.

You’ll have an opportunity to work with senior internal and external technical and commercial personnel in an international environment to meet the company's technological and project goals whilst delivering highly complex thermal transfer coding products and solutions

What You’ll Do

  • Accountable for delivery of technical solutions to ensure products are available for manufacture and sale in line with business priorities, quality, timeline and cost objectives in accordance with MI global methodologies and standards.
  • Lead definition of the business case and validate project specifications with all stakeholders prior to initiating the design phase
  • Deliver projects through all phases of the development process including the specification, design, integration, verification, qualification, field trials & product launch.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate project risks. Lead resolution of project related issues and escalate as required
  • Provide strong leadership to build and maintain a cohesive project team that works together to optimize schedule, budget and deliver overall project success.
  • Contribute to MI global project governance in functional coordination with the Global Manager for Program Management.

What You Need To Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and New Business Development industry-related work experience.
  • Experience as a Project or Program Manager within an Industrial equipment market sector
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills
  • Strong leadership, results driven and conflict resolution experience
  • Experience working with Project Management tools (MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent).
  • Formal project management qualification (PMP, Prince2, or equiv)
  • Experience in development and industrialisation of complex electro-mechanical products with embedded software is desirable
  • Experience in an international company (markets and locations) would be desirable.
