Job Opportunity: Programme Manager at Sanctuary

WRK digital is exclusively partnered with Sanctuary as they go through a huge & exciting digital transformation. Sanctuary is the UK’s largest Housing Association, providing 125,000 homes. This role is based in Worcester 3 days per week as Sanctuary hold the benefits of face-to-face collaborative working in high regard.

About the Role

We are searching for an experienced Programme Manager. This role will see you working in a busy change team, developing and managing the effective delivery of a portfolio of projects, programmes and products, ensuring cost efficiency and enabling business transformation for the benefit of all customers, in line with Group objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve programme and project management practices, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen delivery performance.
  • Manage the successful delivery of complex and business-critical technology projects, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, business priorities, and transformation objectives.
  • Oversee programme planning, governance, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are appropriately prioritised and delivered effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, business leaders, and external partners to define project scope, expected outcomes, and benefits, ensuring solutions meet both current and future business needs.
  • Provide clear and insightful reporting to senior leadership, highlighting project progress, risks, dependencies, and key milestones to support informed decision-making.
  • Support the development of high-performing project teams through effective leadership, coaching, recruitment, and performance management, ensuring the right skills and capabilities are in place to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation, maintaining engagement and alignment throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Contribute to wider strategic initiatives and organisational change programmes as required, supporting the achievement of business goals and values.
