Claims Programme Manager – Financial Services
Contract: Until April 2027, potential to extend
IR35: Inside IR35
Location: London / Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office
We are supporting a major UK financial services organisation undergoing a significant transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join a key workstream focused on complex financial claims.
This role sits at the intersection of business process transformation and technology delivery, with an approximate 60% business/process and 40% technology split.
The Role
The programme is modernising a legacy technology estate and transforming a claims environment that currently relies heavily on manual processes and standard operating procedures. With the initial baselining phase nearing completion, the focus is now moving towards defining the future-state operating model, capabilities and technology solutions, followed by implementation from early 2027.

Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and improving end-to-end claims processes and workflows.
- Defining future-state business and technology capabilities.
- Introducing workflow and process orchestration to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes.
- Supporting legacy technology modernisation and implementation of new solutions.
- Exploring AI and intelligent automation for document handling, information retrieval and knowledge search.
- Bridging business requirements with technical delivery teams.

What We're Looking For
You will ideally have experience delivering complex transformation within financial services, insurance, claims or another regulated environment, alongside:
- Strong business process transformation experience.
- Experience with workflow, case management or process orchestration.
- Good understanding of enterprise technology and legacy modernisation.
- Experience working in complex claims or case-processing environments.
- Ability to operate effectively across business and technology stakeholders.
- Exposure to AI, intelligent document processing or automation would be advantageous.
Experience across financial advice, investments, pensions, SIPPs or insurance claims would be particularly relevant.
