About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-impact change across a portfolio of interdependent programmes and projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated plans across multiple complex programmes, ensuring dependencies, resources, risks, milestones and competing priorities are aligned to support successful delivery of strategic outcomes.

Working closely with senior internal and external stakeholders, including Executive and C-suite leaders, you will use your proven ability to influence, challenge and build consensus to drive decision-making, remove barriers and maintain momentum. Success in this role will come from your ability to navigate complexity, connect activity across organisational boundaries and lead through collaboration in a matrix environment where outcomes are achieved through credibility, persuasion and strong programme leadership rather than direct authority. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in translating strategic ambition into coordinated delivery, ensuring change is effectively implemented and benefits are realised.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FIXED TERM ROLE UNTIL 31 MARCH 2027.
What You Bring:
- Relevant technical experience which may include leading the team to deliver the design, build, test and transition into production for bespoke and off-the-shelf software, hardware, infrastructure solutions, data migration, integration and other technology solutions or business processes
- Relevant procurement and implementation experience which may include the implementation, configuration, customisation, integration and transition into production of business packaged software, security or other specialist technical software
- Experience of managing internal and external suppliers and in leading multi-discipline teams in a delivery environment
- A proven people manager with experience in approaches and techniques to manage and develop teams
- Relevant experience, Include any qualifications that are essential for the role
- Experienced in working in a matrix environment
- A proven background in successfully managing larger scale Projects or Programmes, delivering project solutions and following project methodologies
- Excellent communication and relationship skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with business teams, stakeholders and senior management
- Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel and Project (Online)
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills experience of producing business cases, programme (project) board documentation and reports which include complex data
- Ability to plan, manage and prioritise work and deliver to strict deadlines
- Excellent skills in collaboration, tenacity and leadership are key to be successful in this role
