Role Description

The Program Manager is a remote, part-time contract role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing innovation programs that support climate and nature solutions. In this role, the Program Manager coordinates stakeholders across nonprofits, technology partners, and sustainability leaders, ensuring strong communication and timely delivery of program milestones. The Program Manager will also identify opportunities to enhance AI fluency within partner organizations, gather feedback to improve program design, and support outreach efforts to grow the Climate Collective ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Program and project management skills, including planning, coordination, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience working with climate, sustainability, or environmental initiatives, and familiarity with nonprofit or social impact ecosystems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and participant-facing materials.
  • Comfort with digital tools and platforms; ability to learn and work with AI-enabled or data-driven solutions in a program context.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across diverse teams and time zones.
  • Demonstrated skills in relationship-building, facilitation, and community or network management are highly beneficial.
  • Experience designing or running innovation programs, accelerators, or workshops is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as environmental studies, public policy, business, technology, or a related discipline.
