About the team and the role

eBay is re-imaginging the future of e-commerce - building a trusted marketplace. The Authenticity Guarantee (AG) team is a core component of this vision, ensuring buyers and sellers can shop with confidence. With innovative and exciting initiatives, the Authentication Guarantee Operations team is a fast-paced and passion-filled team to be a part of.

This team has successfully launched watches, handbags, sneakers, trading cards, and apparel authentication in the US, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, and Japan in a few quick years. We are now expanding the reach of our world-class authentication infrastructure.

You will join the Program Management team within Authenticity Guarantee Operations to spearhead critical strategic initiatives in Electronics and Collectibles. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you will drive the go-to-market (GTM) planning and execution to bring AG to more customers in new categories, and manage the programs once they’re stood up.

What you will accomplish

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end go-to-market planning, execution and program management for a critical strategic initiative. You will serve as the primary link between operations, external partners, and cross-functional eBay teams to ensure a seamless launch and sustained growth.

GTM planning and execution

  • Lead the end-to-end GTM orchestration and project management for strategic initiative, from initial launch readiness through post-launch refinements
  • Proactively identify, problem solve, and resolve potential project blockers / risks and triage complex issues across stakeholders
  • Act as the central point of contact across operations, business, product, marketing, legal and more to ensure critical path milestones are met for successful launch

Program management

  • Lead the strategic global program management to drive growth and optimize performance for strategic initiative
  • Develop and own escalation playbooks for common issues and triage customer problems to ensure a frictionless experience
  • Serve as primary operational point of contact for partner by managing day-to-day relationship ensuring operational alignment, and strengthen working relationship
  • Own program insights and reporting against key business metrics in Weekly Business Reviews (WBR)
  • Act as a change management lead for changes with operations or with partners

What you will bring

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or GTM Operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel with a strong ability to analyze business metrics and report on performance
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority
  • Experience managing external partner or client relationships as a primary point of contact
  • A self-starter who can work independently to achieve goals on time
  • Strong "follow-through" mindset with a proven track record of meeting deadlines in high-pressure environments
  • High degree of agility and comfort with changing or evolving strategic directions
  • Familiarity with project management tools to maintain rigorous schedule, identify critical path
  • Experience and ease using AI to drive program management deliverables more efficiently
  • Travel to partner offices and AG operational centers as needed
