Raytheon UK has an excellent opportunity for a Programme Manager (Bids & Execution) in our Training Transformation Services (TTS) team, working on a hybrid basis either near Reading or Harlow.
As Programme Manager, you will hold a pivotal role in driving business growth through the successful delivery of change programmes and bid proposals. You will play a key role in shaping and executing initiatives that expand our sales pipeline and secure future opportunities.
You must be eligible to obtain or currently hold BPSS and SC level clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop executable program delivery plan for new business opportunities and support transition into service and beyond.
- Drive the full program lifecycle, from proposal development to contract award, mobilisation & execution.
- Programme Delivery - Work closely with all functions to remove barriers and enable successful delivery, to ensure that customer deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
- Lead and manage complex proposals that support strategic business growth, transformation, and customer expansion.
- Identify and mitigate risks while actively capturing and exploiting opportunities to enhance business outcomes and deliver effectively to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated delivery and seamless execution across all programme elements.
- Champion PMX best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement and flawless execution.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support shared programme vision and success.
Required Skills & Experience
- Relevant, recent demonstrable experience of successful programme execution in a highly regulated and/or controlled environment.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end bid processes and delivering successful and executable proposals.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to align programme delivery with strategic business goals.
- Demonstrate and advocate Raytheon leadership behaviours.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and pressure in fast-paced settings.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and technical experts.
- Creative and open to innovation in order to solve problems.
- Experience of working in MOD and/or training.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Shipley trained or familiar with structured bid methodologies.
- Degree qualified in a technical or project management related discipline, or with equivalent non-academic experience.
- Interest in continuous professional development of self and others.
