Program Manager – City & Customer Launches
Location: Remote within the UK
Contract: 6 months
Pay Rate: £53/hour
Industry: Autonomous Mobility / Automotive Technology
Travel: Occasional travel within Europe and to the United States
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager – City & Customer Launches to support the coordination and execution of new market launches, city activations, and customer-facing initiatives for a company operating in the autonomous mobility industry.
This role focuses on keeping complex, cross-functional programs organized, on track, and aligned across multiple teams. You will oversee program documentation, maintain project trackers, coordinate recurring meetings, monitor milestones, and drive follow-through on action items, risks, and readiness requirements.
You will collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Policy, and Legal, while supporting European market readiness activities, including vehicle homologation, mapping, and mileage accumulation.
The ideal candidate brings strong program management experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams while communicating program status, dependencies, and potential roadblocks clearly.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management: Maintain program playbooks, master trackers, and readiness documentation across active city launches and customer milestone initiatives.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize recurring working groups and cross-functional status meetings, including agendas, meeting notes, action items, and follow-up activities.
- Risk & Issue Management: Track outstanding actions, dependencies, and risks across Engineering, Operations, Policy, and Legal, escalating potential blockers proactively.
- Program Reporting: Develop and maintain status reports, dashboards, presentations, and other materials that provide clear visibility into program progress and overall readiness.
- Launch Coordination: Support new city activations, market expansion, and customer-facing capability rollouts through day-to-day coordination across multiple workstreams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain accountability for milestones, owners, and deadlines while ensuring stakeholders have timely and accurate program updates.
- European Market Readiness: Support coordination and discussions related to vehicle homologation, vehicle deployment for mapping, and mileage accumulation activities.
- Travel & On-Site Support: Travel within Europe and to the United States as needed to support launch activities, vehicle operations, and key program milestones.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of program or project management experience, preferably supporting complex, cross-functional launches or operational programs.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, manage milestones, and maintain accurate program documentation.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills, including experience tracking action items, risks, dependencies, and readiness requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate program status effectively to working teams and leadership.
- Experience developing program dashboards, status reports, presentations, or similar reporting materials.
- Proficiency with project management and tracking tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Google Sheets, Confluence, or comparable platforms.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in autonomous vehicles, automotive manufacturing, ride-hailing, mobility, or another regulated operational environment.
- Experience supporting new city launches, market expansions, customer milestones, or large-scale operational rollouts.
- Familiarity with cross-functional governance processes, including design reviews, quality gates, and launch readiness reviews.
- Experience using Jira Structure, Confluence, or similar tools for cross-program tracking and documentation.
Work Location & Travel
This is a remote position for candidates based in the United Kingdom. Occasional travel within Europe and to the United States is required to support business and program needs.
Interview Process
The interview process is expected to include:
- An initial 30-minute video interview with the hiring manager.
- A panel interview of approximately 90 minutes, including an on-site component.
