Senior Technical Transformation Programme Manager
Express Recruitment are proud to be working with a global organisation operating at scale across multiple regions, who are seeking to recruit a Senior Technical Transformation Programme Manager to play a key role within a major, multi-year enterprise transformation programme.
This role will sit within a complex global environment and will focus on delivering critical technical workstreams, including an extensive Active Directory programme. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, third-party providers, and geographically distributed project teams to drive delivery, resolve issues, and ensure successful programme outcomes.
The role is an initial 6-month contract, paying up to £700 per day (umbrella) inside IR35, with a strong possibility of being extended. While primarily remote, there will be a requirement to attend the Nottingham office on a regular basis.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering large-scale technical transformation programmes within complex, global environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior and executive level
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and supporting distributed project teams across international locations
- Strong background in issue resolution, risk management, and structured programme delivery
- Experience working with third-party suppliers and contributing to business case development
- Technical understanding of enterprise IT environments, with experience working on infrastructure or directory services programmes highly desirable (e.g. Active Directory)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills, with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels

Roles & Responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of complex technical workstreams within a large-scale global transformation programme, ensuring alignment to time, cost, scope, and quality objectives
- Managing an established Active Directory programme, including addressing misconfigurations, consolidation activities, and longer-term strategic modernisation initiatives
- Providing end-to-end project support, acting as an escalation point and supporting a wider team of Project Managers across multiple regions
- Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across the business, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and buy-in throughout delivery
- Managing third-party suppliers and contributing to the development of business cases and supporting documentation
- Identifying, managing, and resolving risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring logical sequencing of delivery activities
- Supporting programme governance, assurance, and reporting, providing visibility of progress and overall portfolio health
