About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technology Program Manager to join our Financial Services Consulting client. The successful candidate will lead complex business and technology transformation programmes for tier-one banking and financial services clients, delivering strategic change across Retail Banking or Capital Markets environments.

This role requires a strong consulting background, exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale technology programmes from inception through to implementation. You will work directly with senior client stakeholders, technology leadership teams, and delivery partners to drive successful transformation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology and business transformation programmes within Retail Banking or Capital Markets environments.
  • Manage programme governance, delivery planning, financial tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with client executives, including CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Technology, and Business Sponsors.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, technology, architecture, operations, and third-party vendors.
  • Drive programme mobilisation, operating model design, target-state definition, and delivery execution.
  • Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic business objectives.
  • Facilitate steering committees, executive governance forums, and programme review meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate programme risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
  • Support business development activities including proposal creation, client presentations, and solution shaping.
  • Mentor project managers and delivery leads within programme structures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
