PROGRAM MANAGER – RETAIL OPERATIONS

Location: London – Hybrid | 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Salary: £310 per day PAYE
Duration: 6-month contract

We’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to join a global retail organisation and lead strategic programmes focused on product ownership, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

You’ll work closely with global retail support teams, senior field leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver programmes that support business priorities and improve the overall employee and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver complex programmes and strategic initiatives across retail operations.
  • Drive improvements in product ownership, processes, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Manage projects from planning through to successful implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with global, cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, roadblocks, and potential business impacts, taking action to resolve issues quickly.
  • Build strong relationships with retail and field leadership and communicate key initiatives effectively.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback and use insights to improve programmes and processes.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities across different time zones.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Project/Program Management experience.
  • Previous experience in retail store operations, regional/national retail management, or field leadership.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles, project management tools, and delivery methodologies.
  • Proven stakeholder and change management experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working within global, cross-functional teams and across multiple time zones.
