About Us
Letz Live has spent over two decades placing young people into paid gap year and working holiday programmes across Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. The UK Hospo Co. is our dedicated UK working holiday brand, matching participants traditionally from Australia, New Zealand and Canada with hospitality roles – bar work, front of house, reception, housekeeping and kitchen positions – in pubs, hotels and venues across the UK. Traditionally, all provide full-time employment with live-in accommodation included.
Our team is spread across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
About You
If you’ve come from youth or student travel, tour operations, working holiday or gap year programmes, human resources / talent acquisition, travel retail, adventure travel or a related field, we’d especially like to hear from you – you’ll already understand the participant, the seasonality and the pace of this work.
Essential
- Existing right to work in the UK
- Based in or around London (or willing to relocate), and willing to travel regularly to venues nationally
- Demonstrated success in business development, account management or B2B sales – you’re comfortable making the first approach and confident asking for the business
- Strong hospitality or travel industry knowledge, ideally gained working in venues yourself
- Excellent communicator, in writing and in person, with people ranging from an 18-year-old nervous about their first flight to a multi-site venue director
- Genuinely self-motivated and organised – remote work with an offshore head office that rewards people who manage their own week well
- Sound judgement and discretion when handling participant welfare issues
- Full UK driving licence, or a practical plan for regular national travel
Desirable
- Personal experience of a working holiday, gap year or extended period living abroad
- Travel industry background – youth or student travel, tour operations, working holiday and gap year programmes, travel retail or international placements
- Experience working across time zones with an international team
- CRM proficiency and comfort with reporting on a sales pipeline

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Role
We’re looking for a Program Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the UK Hospo Co. You’ll be the brand’s presence on the ground in the UK: building and holding the venue relationships that supply our placements, converting enquiries into confirmed participants, planning and hosting orientations, welcoming participants to London for a few days, and looking after those participants from first contact through to the end of their placement.
This is a hands-on operational role with a strong commercial edge. The single biggest measure of success will be the strength and growth of our venue network, particularly in London and other major cities. Full business support – marketing, finance, admin and participant recruitment – is provided by our head office in Australia, so your time stays focused on relationships, sales and ultimately participant experience.
You’ll work remotely, with the autonomy that comes with being the senior UK-based person in the brand, and the backing of an established global team behind you.
You will also be involved in supporting participants on our other programmes in the UK, particularly with orientations and this will involve work at the weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Venue partnerships and business development
- Identify, approach and secure new hospitality venue partners across London and other major UK cities
- Build genuine, long-term working relationships with venue owners, general managers and hiring decision-makers
- Visit venues in person to assess suitability, standards, accommodation and workplace culture before placing participants
- Maintain and grow existing partnerships through regular contact, site visits and proactive account management
- Negotiate placement terms and keep partnership agreements current and accurate
- Track venue demand and seasonal patterns so supply is in place ahead of participant arrivals
Sales and participant conversion
- Manage enquiries through to confirmed bookings, conducting interviews and consultations with prospective participants
- Meet agreed placement and revenue targets, reporting on pipeline and performance to the General Manager
- Represent the UK Hospo Co. at recruitment events, information sessions and industry functions where required
- Contribute to pricing, positioning and campaign ideas based on what you’re seeing in the UK market

- Hosting orientation programmes for UK Hospo Co and Letz Live throughout the year.
- Resolve issues between participants and venues quickly, fairly and calmly, escalating where appropriate

Operations
- Run the daily operations of the brand in the UK, keeping records, systems and CRM data accurate and current
- Ensure placements meet UK employment, right-to-work and safeguarding obligations
