Mission:
TEKEVER is seeking a Program Support Officer to join our growing Defence Delivery pillar. This position is critical in providing support to Delivery Managers throughout the project cycle, ensuring the success and coordination of activities across the Defence division and TEKEVER as a whole. Responsibilities include developing project plans, mitigating delivery risks, ensuring operational effectiveness for end users, and contributing to strategy development.

As part of the Defence Delivery pillar, employees will have the chance to travel to both fixed TEKEVER sites across Europe and deployed operations worldwide, with a focus on understanding the operating environment and collaborating with partners on location.
What will be your responsibilities:
- Project support and administration – ensuring schedules and project plans are up to date and readily available.
- Tasking and coordination – cohere activity across TEKEVER in support of project objectives and milestones.
- Project Reporting – maintain regular communication internal throughout the life of a project. Develop reporting formats tailored to the reader to ensure appropriate levels of detail are readily available.
- Information Management – developing and overseeing TEKEVER’s IKM processes particularly in relation to Defence projects.
- Risk Management – identify, qualify, and manage risk to successful delivery across the entire value chain and ensure mitigations are developed.
Profile and requirements:
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project success and operational efficiency.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders across multiple regions and teams.
- Travel frequently to customer locations in the UK, Portugal, US, and Europe.
- Be flexible to work extended hours, including evenings or weekends, in case of urgent operational needs.
- Previous experience in project delivery, preferably within the Defence or Technology sectors.
- Accredited project management or project support qualifications (e.g., PFQ).
- Ability to manage and operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Must be eligible to hold SC clearance and willing to undergo the vetting process.
- Work authorisation in the UK is required.
- Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in English, with proven fluency at the C2 level.
