Programmatic Account Manager
Soho, London
Hybrid working: 3 days in the office Tues - Thurs
The Role
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Programmatic Account Manager to join the Commercial team. You'll be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key programmatic and advertising technology partners, supporting ad tech integrations, driving monetisation initiatives, and identifying opportunities to optimise revenue across our programmatic ecosystem.
Working closely with internal stakeholders across Product, Ad Operations, Data, Engineering, and Commercial teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring our monetisation stack remains efficient, competitive, and aligned with our long-term revenue strategy.

Key Responsibilities
PARTNER MANAGEMENT & COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Manage day-to-day relationships with programmatic demand and technology partners including SSPs, exchanges, identity providers, measurement partners, and yield optimisation vendors.
- Act as a key point of contact for partner communications, commercial discussions, performance reviews, and strategic initiatives.
- Support partner onboarding, contract renewals, and the evaluation of new monetisation opportunities.
- Monitor partner performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency, and strengthen long-term partnerships.

AD TECH & PLATFORM MANAGEMENT
- Support the implementation, testing, and maintenance of programmatic technologies across the ad stack.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Ad Operations teams on new integrations, platform migrations, and technical enhancements.
- Assist in the management and optimisation of header bidding, Open Bidding, identity solutions, and demand partner configurations.
- Work with vendors to troubleshoot integration issues and ensure platform stability and performance.
REVENUE & YIELD OPTIMISATION
- Analyse monetisation performance across platforms, partners, devices, and markets.
- Produce regular reporting and insights on key metrics including revenue, CPMs, fill rates, and partner contribution.
- Identify opportunities to improve auction dynamics, demand diversity, and overall yield performance.
- Support testing frameworks and optimisation initiatives to maximise programmatic revenue.
STRATEGIC PROJECTS
- Assist with the assessment and implementation of new advertising technologies and monetisation solutions.
- Conduct market research and vendor evaluations to support strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to programme-wide initiatives focused on identity, privacy, addressability, measurement, and future monetisation strategies.
- Maintain documentation and best practices related to programmatic operations, integrations, and partner management.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Partner closely with Commercial, Product, Engineering, Ad Operations, and Data teams to deliver monetisation initiatives.
- Support senior stakeholders with project planning, business cases, and partner recommendations.
- Help ensure alignment between commercial objectives, technical requirements, and user experience considerations.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in programmatic advertising, ad technology, digital publishing, or media monetisation.
- Experience working with SSPs sell-side, exchanges, identity providers, or other advertising technology partners.
- Strong understanding of publisher monetisation, programmatic ecosystems, and digital advertising technologies.
- Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, header bidding technologies, Open Bidding, and programmatic marketplaces.
- Experience analysing commercial and performance data to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
DESIRABLE
- Experience managing technology vendors or commercial partnerships.
- Knowledge of identity and privacy solutions, including addressability initiatives.
- Experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
- Understanding of Prebid, ads.txt, sellers.json, auction dynamics, and yield management principles.
- Interest in sports, media, gaming, or digital publishing.
