Programmatic Ad Operations Specialist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Programmatic Ad Operations Specialist based in United Kingdom.
Join a dynamic, remote-first team where you will play a key role in delivering high-performing programmatic advertising campaigns across global markets. As a Programmatic Ad Operations Specialist, you will oversee campaign execution, creative implementation, tracking, and quality assurance while ensuring flawless launches across multiple advertising platforms. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will help optimize campaign performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to continuous operational improvements. This role offers exposure to a fast-paced digital advertising environment where automation and AI-powered workflows are part of everyday operations. Accountabilities
- Manage the trafficking, setup, and delivery of display advertising campaigns across DSPs and ad-serving platforms, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Upload, organize, and maintain creative assets while implementing ad tags, tracking links, and campaign configurations.
- Perform comprehensive quality assurance before campaign launches, validating creatives, tracking functionality, and cross-device compatibility.
- Monitor campaign delivery, troubleshoot technical issues related to creatives, redirects, tracking, and ad serving, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Conduct A/B testing of creative assets and support performance analysis by preparing reports and sharing optimization recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support campaigns across multiple international markets while leveraging AI tools to streamline operational workflows.

Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Ad Operations, Digital Advertising, Programmatic Advertising, or AdTech.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience using major demand-side platforms and ad servers, such as Adform, DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, or similar solutions.
- Strong understanding of HTML5 creatives, JavaScript tags, third-party ad tags, VAST/VPAID standards, and digital advertising technologies.
- Experience implementing click, impression, and conversion tracking, including UTM parameters, macros, pixels, and troubleshooting tracking issues.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Professional written and spoken English communication skills.
- Availability to work within approximately three hours of the GMT time zone.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, display, native, video, CTV advertising formats, or AI-powered coding and automation tools is considered an advantage.
