Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Associate Director to join the Outcomes team and play a key leadership role in driving client success through audience-led programmatic and addressable media solutions.

You will be responsible for leading the strategic development, activation, optimisation, and measurement of programmatic media activity across channels including CTV, YouTube, Display, Digital Audio, and other addressable media environments. Working at the intersection of data, technology, media, and business strategy, you will ensure campaigns deliver measurable outcomes and create lasting value for clients.

Will oversee multiple client workstreams, lead and develop high-performing teams, and act as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders. You will help shape the future of our programmatic and addressable media offering by driving innovation, operational excellence, and strategic growth.

This role is ideal for someone looking to move beyond campaign delivery and take ownership of client strategy, team leadership, business performance, and the continued evolution of the Outcomes function.

  • Lead the development and execution of audience-first programmatic and addressable media strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Translate client business objectives into effective media, audience, and measurement frameworks.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance performance through emerging technologies, automation, data solutions, and innovative activation approaches.
  • Provide strategic guidance on channel selection, audience planning, investment allocation, and optimisation.

Client Leadership

  • Act as a senior strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients.
  • Build strong client relationships and confidently present strategic recommendations and performance insights.
  • Ensure client programmes deliver against agreed objectives, KPIs, and business outcomes.
  • Support the Director in identifying and driving organic growth opportunities.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Managers and specialist teams to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to drive capability development and career progression.
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Ensure effective resource planning and workload management across accounts and projects.

Performance & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the activation, measurement, and optimisation of programmatic and addressable media campaigns.
  • Leverage audience insights, data, and analytics to improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Drive best practice across campaign planning, execution, reporting, and governance.
  • Establish scalable processes that improve operational efficiency and quality of delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience within programmatic, addressable media, or digital performance marketing.
  • Strong understanding of audience-based planning, activation, measurement, and optimisation.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and develop talent in a fast-paced media environment.
  • Experience managing senior client relationships and influencing strategic decision-making.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for innovation, data-driven marketing, and delivering measurable results.
