Job Description

About the Role

Reporting directly into the Head of Programmatic+, the Programmatic+ Director will be tasked with leading a team on one of the flagship accounts at PHD, working across mainly Managed Service Display campaigns. Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the successful end to end delivery of all display activity being traded through Managed Service
  • Ensuring client KPI's are optimised to and met, alongside delivering against best practice brand safety and ad-verification metrics
  • Support the Head of Programmatic+ to deliver trading deals, programmatic and OMG product targets
  • Lead all audit & data requirements, ensuring that the team are inputting data accurately
  • Work closely with key vendors to ensure the client has priority access to new products, features, beta opportunities and inventory
  • Provide personal development plans and support for Managers of your team; and identify training requirements and areas for capability improvement
  • Drive innovation across the account through testing frameworks, audience strategies and measurement approaches
  • Develop and maintain best practice ways of working, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and campaign performance.
  • Act as a key contributor to the wider Programmatic+ leadership team, helping shape department priorities, product development and capability advancement.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be in a Senior Manager or Associate Director role looking to take the next step up in your career. You will have a background in Display, used to running a high performing team, operationally very strong, with the ability to orchestrate a team to ensure deadlines are met and the work produced is of the highest standard. You will possess strong technical knowledge of the Display marketplace and a history of developing trust and building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

The person we’re looking for will be a key figure in fostering interest and excitement for Display opportunities within the agency. You’ll be able to develop relationships with key suppliers to help improve overall service levels. You will also make the most of the tools through regular audits and development plans and support the Head of Programmatic+ by hitting income targets by increasing client spend and pitching for new business.

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with media, data and technology partners and work collaboratively to meet shared goals
  • Confidence in presenting and educating on Display concepts and strategies
  • Ability to understand clients’ business to drive conversations with senior clients and media owners/suppliers to deliver our commercial agenda
  • Exhibit excellent presentation skills to clients
  • Anticipate the needs of the team and makes arrangements accordingly
  • Ability to influence clients through all verbal and written communication
