Programmatic Media Strategy – Account Manager / Senior Manager

London | Permanent

Our client is a fast-growing, profitable global commerce technology business operating at the intersection of Retail Media, Ecommerce, Data and AI. Backed by leading global investors, the business combines proprietary technology with strategic consultancy, helping some of the world’s largest consumer brands understand, optimise and grow their ecommerce and retail media performance.

The Opportunity

  • Join a growing London team as they continue to scale across Europe.
  • Work with major international brands, helping shape their programmatic media strategy across multiple markets.
  • Combine programmatic expertise with ecommerce and commercial data to understand the wider impact of media investment – moving beyond campaign metrics to provide genuinely strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Take real ownership of your accounts in an entrepreneurial environment with the autonomy to make decisions, develop strategy and identify opportunities for growth.
  • We’re hiring at both Account Manager and Senior Manager level, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Programmatic Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and deliver programmatic display strategies across ecommerce and digital channels.
  • Work across DSPs including Amazon DSP and other major platforms.
  • Build media plans aligned to client objectives, budgets and KPIs.
  • Analyse and optimise campaign performance.
  • Translate performance data into clear strategic recommendations.

Client Strategy & Ownership

  • Own day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of international clients.
  • Present performance, insights and recommendations to client stakeholders.
  • Understand the wider commercial objectives behind campaigns rather than looking at media performance in isolation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, expand and grow client relationships.

Data & Insights

  • Analyse media, ecommerce and competitive data to uncover meaningful insights.
  • Turn complex information into compelling presentations and client stories.
  • Partner closely with ecommerce/search colleagues to develop joined-up client strategies.

Senior Manager Level

  • Lead more complex strategic client relationships.
  • Consult confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Identify commercial growth and upsell opportunities.
  • Mentor and support more junior members of the team.
  • Help shape wider account strategy while remaining comfortable getting hands-on when required.

Your Profile

  • Strong experience within programmatic advertising/display media.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major DSP such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP or similar.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and comfortable turning data into insights and recommendations.
  • Commercially minded with an interest in the wider client/business challenge.
  • Collaborative, proactive and comfortable operating with significant autonomy.
  • Experience within Amazon or Retail Media is advantageous but absolutely not essential.
  • Open to candidates from agencies, adtech, DSPs, retail media and other relevant digital media environments.
