£50,000 - £55,000 + bonus and extensive benefits
Full Time / Permanent
West Midlands / Hybrid - 1 day a week in the office + monthly UK wide travel
The Role and Company:
I am looking for a driven Programme Assurance, Governance and Compliance professional to join a large nationally recognised brand headquartered in the West Midlands.
The successful candidate will act as the internal governance and programme assurance specialist providing independent oversight of programme compliance and decision-making processes, ensuring governance arrangements are robust, proportionate and consistently applied.
The Programme Assurance, Governance and Compliance Officer will establish and operate governance forums, coordinate approvals, maintain audit-ready evidence, oversee compliance and assure that programme artefacts, decisions and data are managed appropriately.
We are looking for someone Midlands based who can travel to the Warwickshire headquarters 1 day a week and is willing to travel throughout the UK monthly.

Experience Required:
- Proven experience in working in governance, assurance or PMO functions within complex programmes or portfolios.
- Track record of managing governance processes through senior leadership and executive decision-making forums.
- Strong understanding of programme governance, controls, assurance and risk management principles.
- Experience coordinating high-quality governance papers and executive-level reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple approval routes, dependencies and stakeholder requirements simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and provide clear recommendations.
- Experience developing governance frameworks, standards and operating procedures.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills.
- Experience maintaining audit-ready evidence and compliance documentation.
