Programme Consultant - Financial Crime Remediation Programme
A leading management consulting firm is seeking a Programme Consultant to lead a high-profile financial crime remediation programme within a Securities Services business in London. This six-month contract offers an immediate start and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, delivering impactful solutions across complex regulatory environments.
This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in Securities Services and financial crime prevention who thrive in delivery-focused, collaborative, and inclusive settings. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, transparency, and operational excellence while driving programme success.
Your Role:
- Scope and define workstreams for the establishment and delivery phases of the financial crime remediation programme.
- Lead KYC/CDD back-book remediation efforts, ensuring transparency across omnibus and nominee accounts.
- Oversee sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, intermediary/sub-custodian due diligence, and transfer agency/fund investor KYC initiatives.
- Develop data lineage frameworks and management information solutions to support effective decision-making.
- Contribute to policy development, target operating model (TOM) design, assurance activities, and quality reviews.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to guide strategic direction and ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Build cohesive teams that prioritise knowledge sharing and deliver results efficiently.

Your Profile:
- Proven experience in Securities Services with hands-on involvement in KYC/CDD remediation programmes.
- Expertise in client risk rating methodologies, sanctions screening protocols, transaction monitoring systems, and intermediary due diligence processes.
- Strong ability to advise senior stakeholders on compliance strategies while driving operational improvements.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and build high-performing teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within financial services.
