Job Description

Your Role

Kick It Out, football’s leading equality and inclusion organisation, is looking for a Programme Coordinator to help create more inclusive opportunities and experiences across football. As part of our McDonald’s Fun Football partnership, you’ll support the planning and delivery of coach education activity. Working closely with internal teams and delivery partners, you’ll help bring programmes to life and ensure activity is well organised, engaging and accessible. You’ll also contribute to wider programme delivery across Raise Your Game and KIO's core education programmes, supporting opportunities for people to learn, develop and progress through football.

This is a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. The role is part-time (four days a week), with a pro-rated salary of £21,600.

What You'll Do

McDonald’s Fun Football Partnership

  • Work with the Education and Programme teams to support the planning and coordination of programme activity
  • Support the delivery of regional CPD events across England, including logistics, registration, communications, and on-the-day coordination
  • Support the coordination and delivery of webinars, including scheduling, communications, and participant engagement
  • Act as a key point of contact for participants, providing clear information and support before, during, and after activity
  • Support communication with McDonald’s, delivery partners, coaches, and participants across programme activity
  • Support the coordination of contributors, logistics, and materials for filming days and e-learning activity
  • Maintain accurate records of participation, engagement, feedback, and course progress to support reporting and evaluation
  • Support the development and updating of inclusive educational content and resources
  • Monitor bursary recipients’ course progress and follow up where needed to support completion

Programmes Team

  • Support the delivery of Raise Your Game activity, including events, webinars, experience days, and work experience opportunities
  • Support the Programme Team with identifying and developing storytelling opportunities that showcase the impact of the programme
  • Provide administrative and operational support across the Programme Team and wider programme activity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
