Programme Coordinator / Administrative Lead
Hours: 3-4 days per week (21 hours per week)

Morgan Hunt is supporting the recruitment of a Programme Coordinator / Administrative Lead working in the education sector. This is a programme supporting teacher professional learning, building national networks, and improving Computing Science education across Scotland.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a national education programme, helping its team deliver activities, resources, and professional learning opportunities for teachers, schools, and partners.
Your new role
You will provide programme coordination and operational support, ensuring activities are well planned, deadlines are met, and stakeholders receive timely information and support.
Working closely with programme leaders and teacher secondees, you will coordinate a varied workload spanning administration, events, digital communications, and online community support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining programme plans and tracking milestones, outputs, and delivery deadlines.
- Coordinating diaries, meetings, follow-up actions, and programme logistics.
- Organising national events, tutor sessions, and engagement activities, including venues, registration, materials, and attendance monitoring.
- Acting as an administrative contact for schools, local authorities, universities, and partner organisations.
- Updating websites, social media, newsletters, and mailing lists to promote resources, events, and programme achievements.
- Administering online member platforms, including registrations, access permissions, enquiries, and resource publication.
- Gathering engagement data, feedback, and evidence to support evaluation and grant reporting.
- Preparing reports, briefings, and documentation, and improving administrative systems and processes.

What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience coordinating complex projects or programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, planning, and tracking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Experience within education or the public sector, supporting large-scale events or professional learning programmes, would be advantageous. An understanding of schools, local authorities, or national education systems would also be beneficial.

What you'll get in return
