About the Role
Salix Homes is looking for a passionate and proactive Programme Co-ordinator - Salford Manbassadors to support the delivery of a two-year National Lottery-funded project focused on improving men’s mental health and wellbeing through community-led approaches. This is a fixed-term contract role for a period of 8 months.
You will build strong relationships with residents, community organisations, service providers and partners across Salford and Greater Manchester, while coordinating activities that are inclusive, accessible and responsive to community needs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the Salford Manbassadors Programme and act as the first point of contact for enquiries.
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with residents, community organisations, service providers and other stakeholders.
- Plan and deliver community engagement activities and events that promote men's mental health and wellbeing.
- Support individuals with complex needs by connecting them with appropriate advice, information and specialist services.
- Contribute to project monitoring, communications, funding opportunities and reporting, ensuring safeguarding, equality and organisational requirements are met.

What We're Looking For
- Experience of working in a community, housing, health, local authority or voluntary sector environment.
- Experience of delivering or coordinating community projects, events, engagement activities or initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with diverse communities.
- Good organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Knowledge of community development, safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, with an understanding of men's mental health and wellbeing.

- Annual Starting salary of £36,581
