Through a wide range of tailored support services including one-to-one careers guidance, CV writing, interview preparation, and skills training, we have supported over 250,000 people on their journey into work.
Jobs Guarantee is a mandatory programme for 18-24 year olds who have been on Universal Credit for 18 months or more, providing a fully subsidised six month paid job of up to 25 hours per week at minimum wage.
What is the Role About?
The Programme Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the Jobs Guarantee programme through quality assurance, compliance monitoring, data management, and operational coordination. This role will require you to maintain accurate records, monitor programme performance, support continuous improvement activities, and work closely with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure services are delivered efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Coordinating programme activities to ensure services are delivered effectively and in line with contractual requirements.
- Maintaining accurate participant, stakeholder, and programme records across internal systems.
- Monitoring operational performance and supporting the achievement of programme targets and quality standards.
- Producing and analysing management information reports to support decision-making.
- Conducting quality assurance reviews and compliance checks to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
- Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for service improvement.
- Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement and best practice initiatives.
- Maintaining programme documentation, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Preparing evidence and documentation for audits, reviews, and commissioner requirements.
- Monitoring key performance indicators and highlight emerging issues or risks.
- Supporting operational managers with performance improvement activities and action planning.
- Building effective relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to support successful programme delivery.

Essential Attainments
- Experience of working within a contract-driven, target-focused environment.
- Experience of administrative coordination and management information reporting.
- Experience of quality assurance, compliance monitoring, or audit activities.
- Experience of maintaining accurate records and database systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- A minimum of two A-Levels or an equivalent Level three Diploma.
- GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level two qualification). OR achievement of a Level two in Literacy Assessment at the interview stage.

Desirable Criteria
- Experience within employability, skills, welfare-to-work, or public sector programmes.
- Experience supporting contract mobilisation or implementation projects.
- Experience of conducting quality audits or compliance reviews.
- Knowledge of commissioner reporting requirements.
Working Hours/Pattern
Full-time, although we would be happy to consider applicants who are looking to work on a part-time basis.
