The Role
ADS is seeking an experienced and influential Programme Director – Aerospace Growth Partnership (AGP) to lead the programme management function supporting one of the UK's most significant aerospace industry collaborations. The AGP brings together Government, industry and key stakeholders to drive growth, competitiveness, innovation and skills development across the UK aerospace sector.
The Programme Director will provide strategic leadership for the AGP Programme Management Office, ensuring the successful delivery of priorities across the partnership while maintaining strong engagement with senior stakeholders from industry, Government and partner organisations.
The role will oversee the day-to-day operation of the AGP, support the Board and Working Groups, drive progress against agreed objectives, and lead a team of programme professionals and industry secondees.

This is a highly visible position that requires a strong understanding of the aerospace sector, exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate strategic objectives into tangible outcomes.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have significant senior leadership experience within the aerospace sector or a related industry environment and will possess a strong understanding of UK aerospace policy, industry priorities and the wider stakeholder landscape.
- They will be a confident and credible leader with a proven track record of delivering complex programmes, strategic partnerships or industry initiatives.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with senior representatives from Government, industry and trade associations is essential, alongside excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills.
- Candidates will demonstrate strong commercial awareness, experience of leading and developing high-performing teams, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.

The Contract
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week). Part-time applications will also be considered for the right candidate, with flexibility available to accommodate individual circumstances.
- Location: London Head Office, Albert Embankment, with a hybrid working arrangement combining office-based and home working.
