Programme Director – Transformation Assurance & Delivery Excellence

Location: London (Hybrid)

About the Role

Albany Beck is seeking an experienced Delivery Assurance Director to join our consulting team and support a globally significant Financial Services organisation undergoing large-scale business, technology, and data transformation.

This is not a traditional Programme Director position. We are looking for someone who has operated at the highest levels of programme delivery and can now bring that expertise as a trusted advisor, assurance lead, and transformation SME. You will work across a portfolio of strategic initiatives, providing independent challenge, identifying delivery risks before they become issues, and helping senior stakeholders improve programme outcomes.

The successful candidate will combine the credibility of a seasoned Programme Director with the curiosity and analytical mindset of a consultant. You'll be comfortable engaging Executive Sponsors, Programme Directors, and C-suite stakeholders while also diving into programme detail to understand what is driving success—or holding delivery back.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
