Programme Information & Asset Manager

We're supporting a major infrastructure and asset renewal programme within a highly regulated defence environment and are seeking an experienced Programme Information & Asset Manager to provide specialist Information Management and Asset Management expertise across large-scale capital projects.

This role will play a key part in ensuring projects align with best practice information management standards and long-term asset management objectives throughout the asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Information & Asset Management SME across multiple infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and implement Information Management specifications aligned to ISO 19650.
  • Ensure effective management, exchange, governance, and handover of project information.
  • Support project teams, contractors, and stakeholders in establishing information management best practice.
  • Develop and oversee Common Data Environment (CDE) requirements and digital collaboration workflows.
  • Review and manage BIM documentation including: EIRs, PIRs, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), TIDPs, MIDPs, and COBie deliverables.
  • Ensure asset information supports whole-life asset management strategies.
  • Drive digital innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, or similar AEC discipline.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of: ISO 19650 and ISO 55001.
  • BIM Information Management.
  • Asset Management.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within information/asset management in construction or infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction project delivery and lifecycle management.
  • Experience implementing digital solutions and information management frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, reporting, and communication skills.
