Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Programme Integration Governance Lead to support the delivery of a major infrastructure and capability programme within the defence sector. Working within a complex stakeholder environment, you will be responsible for coordinating governance activities, reporting processes and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective programme control, decision-making and integration across multiple teams and organisations.

This role requires a strong governance background, excellent analytical skills and the ability to operate effectively within a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead governance and reporting activities to support effective programme oversight, decision-making and stakeholder integration.
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks, processes, ways of working and stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring reporting data is accurate, consistent and delivered within agreed timescales.
  • Oversee change control, decision support, risk and issue management, planning and scheduling activities, governance reporting and project support functions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure governance processes are embedded across the programme.
  • Support knowledge management and lessons learned activities.
  • Provide assurance that information, actions and decisions are effectively captured, communicated and managed to enable successful programme delivery.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a nationally significant infrastructure and capability programme, supporting governance excellence, stakeholder integration and informed decision-making across a complex delivery environment.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience within a governance or programme controls environment, with a strong understanding of governance, risk management, scheduling and project processes.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure or complex project delivery programmes.
  • Experience managing stakeholder engagement, analysing complex information and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and PowerBI.

Location

The role is Hybrid where 2-3 days per week will be at the Client site in Helensburgh. Your own transport is essential.
