Role description
At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Programme Lead.
Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.

The Role

Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of complex automotive engineering programmes across multiple technical domains. The role requires strong programme governance, customer engagement and delivery leadership, with responsibility for maintaining alignment between engineering teams, suppliers and business objectives.
Area of Responsibility
- Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, milestones, deliverables and resource forecasts.
- Coordinate customers, suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams across global locations.
- Monitor programme performance against quality, cost, timing and scope commitments.
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and escalation actions.
- Lead customer reviews, governance forums, status reporting and decision tracking.
- Support mobilisation, recruitment planning and workload balancing.
- Coordinate engineering changes and assess programme impacts.
- Maintain KPIs, dashboards, action trackers and management reports.
- Drive recovery plans where delivery is at risk and follow actions through to closure.
