Why we're hiring:
WPP is accelerating the adoption of AI across the enterprise, investing in a portfolio of strategic initiatives designed to transform how work gets done across our global business.
Within Enterprise Technology, we're enabling this transformation by building the platforms, capabilities and operating models that will power the next generation of work. From Microsoft Copilot and intelligent automation to emerging AI technologies and agentic workflows, we're embedding AI into the fabric of how WPP operates globally.
We're looking for a Programme Lead (Value & Delivery) to help ensure those investments translate into measurable business outcomes.
This role sits at the heart of WPP's Enterprise AI programme, owning the critical link between delivery and impact. While delivery teams focus on building AI solutions, you'll focus on proving and maximising their value, ensuring solutions become embedded into the way people work and that benefits are measured, evidenced and sustained over time.
You'll work with senior business stakeholders and functional leaders to shape investment decisions, drive adoption at scale and ensure WPP realises the full value of its AI ambitions.
What you'll be doing:
- Own value realisation for WPP's Enterprise AI portfolio, ensuring investments deliver measurable business outcomes and demonstrable return on investment.
- Develop and maintain business cases, benefits frameworks, adoption metrics and executive reporting for senior Technology and Transformation stakeholders.
- Take accountability for the successful adoption and long-term sustainability of AI solutions after go-live.
- Lead the transition of the Enterprise AI opportunity pipeline into permanent in-house ownership, qualifying and prioritising demand before it enters delivery.
- Own the enterprise-wide adoption and measurement framework, establishing baselines, KPIs, benchmarks and reporting standards across multiple business environments.
- Lead the WPP Frontier Lab, evaluating emerging AI products and translating market developments into practical business recommendations.
- Manage the AI Hub demand funnel and agent registry, ensuring opportunities are prioritised effectively and existing capabilities are leveraged before new solutions are created.
- Define and implement the operating model for Enterprise AI, helping establish what business-as-usual looks like as AI scales across WPP.
- Represent AI adoption, value realisation and programme outcomes at steering committees, programme boards and senior leadership forums.
- Lead and develop a small specialist team focused on value tracking, adoption measurement and operational excellence.
- Partner closely with delivery, governance and business stakeholders to ensure a consistent, evidence-led approach to Enterprise AI.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
