π The Opportunity
As Programme Manager, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of Project Falcon, ensuring every workstream comes together to create a seamless, integrated solution that supports the future growth and success of Tarmac.
Working closely with senior leaders, strategic partners and technology specialists, you'll be instrumental in shaping how one of the UK's leading building materials businesses operates for years to come.
π― What You'll Be Leading
End-to-End Programme Delivery
You'll drive the successful delivery of Falcon from design through to deployment, ensuring alignment across all programme workstreams, including:
β Business Process Design
β SAP ECC
β Salesforce
β TCS DigiFleet
β Systems Integration
β Data Migration
β Testing & Deployment
You'll:
- Lead cross-functional teams through design, build, testing, pilot and rollout phases
- Ensure requirements are translated into high-quality, deployment-ready solutions
- Drive alignment across Operations, Logistics, Customer Services, Finance and Technology teams
- Resolve complex programme challenges and dependencies
- Provide governance, reporting and strategic updates to senior leadership and steering committees

Ensuring Quality, Readiness & Adoption
You'll be accountable for ensuring the solution is fully tested, integrated and operationally ready before deployment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading integrated testing programmes across system, integration, end-to-end, regression and UAT cycles
- Managing critical issue resolution across business and technical teams
- Ensuring full traceability from requirements through to deployment
- Governing deployment readiness and cutover planning
- Minimising operational risk while protecting customer service and business performance

You will:
- Build and inspire a high-performing programme team
- Drive accountability and delivery excellence across multiple functions
- Influence executive stakeholders and communicate with impact
- Manage strategic supplier and partner relationships
- Act as a visible champion for one of Tarmac's most important transformation programmes
β What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
We're looking for an accomplished programme leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation, including:
- Enterprise-wide business and technology transformation programmes
- Complex system implementations across design, build, integration, testing and deployment
- Multi-stream programme leadership involving both business and technical teams
- Systems integration, deployment readiness and solution assurance
- Senior stakeholder management, governance and executive reporting
- Management of systems integrators, software vendors and strategic delivery partners

Desirable Experience
You'll stand out if you bring experience in:
- ERP-enabled transformation programmes
- Data conversion, enterprise integration and testing strategy
- Supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or operationally critical environments
- SAP, Salesforce or other large-scale enterprise platforms
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- MSP, PgMP, PMP or equivalent programme management certification
- Additional qualifications in architecture, change management, business analysis, testing or IT service management are advantageous
