Policy Director

THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT UNTIL 31ST MARCH 2027 DUE TO FUNDING.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to head a team of policy specialists and drive the successful delivery of an ambitious programme of work. This role will lead policy development, oversee complex programmes and projects, and ensure delivery against organisational priorities.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in programme and project management, alongside significant experience of leading and developing high-performing teams. They will be an inspiring leader, able to motivate, support and empower others while managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes.

A key aspect of the role will be championing a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture, fostering collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of policy specialists.
  • Oversee the delivery of a diverse programme of work, ensuring objectives are met on time and to a high standard.
  • Drive effective project and programme management across multiple workstreams.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture.
