Interim Senior Programme Manager – NPI & Industrialisation
6-month contract | Inside IR35 | Immediate start
We are supporting a leading technology and advanced manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to provide immediate support to its Technology function.
You will establish and manage an integrated New Product Introduction (NPI) programme plan, creating clear visibility of all deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and risks linked to key industrialisation objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an integrated NPI programme timeline.
- Coordinate deliverables across Technology, Product Development, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
- Establish critical paths, milestones, assumptions, and key decision points.
- Identify schedule, technical, and delivery risks associated with accelerated development timelines.
- Assess the risks and trade-offs of deviating from standard NPI processes.
- Provide scenario-based analysis to support leadership decisions.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and ensure consistent planning assumptions.
- Deliver clear programme reporting covering progress, risks, mitigations, and required decisions.

About you:
- Significant programme management experience within automotive, advanced manufacturing, engineering, or another complex technology environment.
- Strong knowledge of NPI, APQP, industrialisation, and product development processes.
- Proven experience creating integrated master schedules and managing complex cross-functional dependencies.
- Able to translate technical activities into clear programme plans and executive-level insights.
- Strong risk management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Comfortable joining an established team and delivering value with minimal onboarding.
