Programme Manager

FTC - Maternity Cover

Why Ocado?

Here at Ocado Logistics it’s our mission to provide an outstanding customer experience for our partners, developing groundbreaking technology, opening multiple sites at an accelerating rate and engaging in exciting new business partnerships around the world - changing the way the world shops, for good.

We are the beating heart of our UK business and comprise a network of cutting-edge warehouses and offices across the country that ensure that we optimise the experience and use our proprietary technology across the supply chain to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. At the same time delivering bags of possibilities for our employees and a career that will ensure no two days are ever the same.

About the Role

We wouldn’t be able to positively impact the way the world shops without our passionate team members - who keep our business running, our vans delivering, our customers' products picked and packed and our proprietary technology operating at optimum levels. As Ocado Logistics embarks on a journey of significant growth and evolution across our retailer network, we now have an opportunity for a Programme Manager (Transformation - Maternity Cover) to join the team on a fixed term contract basis. In this role, you will take lead ownership of high-impact strategic transformation initiatives, weighing heavily on large-scale people projects, HR transformation, and organisational design to ensure our business structure, target operating models, and workforce capabilities evolve seamlessly alongside our growth.

You will be:

  • Leading complex, end-to-end transformation programmes as a Programme Manager, focusing on organisational design, culture change, and strategic people initiatives.
  • Partnering closely with executive sponsors and senior stakeholders to define programme charters, shape governance structures, and align strategic people frameworks with broader business objectives.
  • Driving organisational change management strategies across Ocado Logistics, ensuring workstreams are prioritised, interdependencies are managed, and employees are engaged throughout the journey.
  • Overseeing programme budgets, resource planning, and governance, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within cost, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Translating complex business and workforce requirements into actionable, structured transformation roadmaps that support our operational fulfilment network.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
