Programme Manager | Waterloo (1 day a week in office) | FTC - 12 Months | £90,000 + 30% Bonus

My client is a leading UK consumer-facing organisation with a strong reputation for customer service, innovation and operational excellence. This role sits within the Strategic Change function, which is responsible for leading complex strategic, operational and organisational programmes across the business. The team partners closely with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver transformational change, ensuring key business objectives are achieved.

Your New Role

  • Lead the delivery of a complex strategic / organisational / operational programme
  • Work closely with the ExCo and Business Leads to scope, plan and deliver the programme
  • Establish and sustain an effective governance framework to ensure the appropriate level of oversight and control is in place across the programme
  • Take ownership for key deliverables across the delivery lifecycle and apply appropriate methodologies to support the achievement of the programme objectives:
    • Own and maintain the comprehensive delivery plan, risk & issue logs
    • Manage and communicate interdependencies clearly
    • Own and maintain the programme budget and forecast
    • Update and maintain the governance and portfolio level reporting for your programme
    • Own resource forecasts and manage schedule and resource dependencies
  • Work in partnership with Finance, HR, IT and various Business Areas as well as key consulting partners

  • 5+ yrs project or programme management experience
  • Experience of delivery in large complex organisations, such as FTSE250 companies or top tier professional services
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience within the Retail or Consultancy space
