Band 8b | Fixed Term until 31 March 2027 (Secondment Considered)
Portland House | Worthing (50% On-Site)
£66,582 – £77,368 per annum (pro rata)
37.5 hours per week

The role
As a Programme Manager within the Trust's Transformation & Change team, you'll lead complex programmes from concept through to delivery, ensuring meaningful and sustainable improvements for patients, staff and services.
You'll:
- Lead the planning, delivery and governance of major transformation programmes
- Manage programme plans, milestones, risks and benefits realisation
- Drive change management and support the adoption of new ways of working
- Build strong relationships with senior clinical, operational and external partners
- Use data and insight to inform decision-making and improve performance
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage programme resources, budgets and reporting

About the team
The Transformation & Change team supports strategic improvement programmes across Sussex Partnership, helping services innovate, modernise and deliver better outcomes for the communities we serve.
The team works across:
- Organisation-wide transformation programmes
- Service redesign and continuous improvement
- Programme governance and assurance
- Strategic planning and change management
- Cross-organisational and system-wide collaboration
What we're looking for
We're seeking an experienced Programme Manager who has:
- Significant experience leading complex transformation or change programmes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders
- Experience delivering projects on time, within scope and budget
- Knowledge of programme management methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP or Agile
- Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills
- A passion for innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
