Lead our ambitious Workforce 2030 programme, driving innovative workforce transformation to attract, develop and retain talented people; Influence strategic change, create an environment where people thrive, and make a lasting difference to our workforce, services and communities.

Lead the delivery of Workforce 2030, our ambitious programme to shape a skilled, resilient and future-ready Adult Social Care and Health workforce. Working with senior leaders and partners across health and social care, you'll lead high-profile transformation projects that improve recruitment, retention, wellbeing and professional practice. This is a unique opportunity to influence strategic workforce development, drive innovation and deliver lasting change that benefits both our staff and the communities we serve. We are looking for candidates who have

  • Experience of leading workforce transformation, organisational development or strategic change programmes within Adult Social Care, Health, or a related public sector setting.
  • Project and programme management skills, with experience of delivering complex initiatives on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
  • Ability to develop practical workforce solutions by understanding workforce challenges, using data and evidence to inform decision-making, and translating national and local policy into effective practice.
  • Communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build productive relationships, negotiate effectively and work collaboratively with senior leaders, partners, and staff at all levels.
  • Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, support and develop individuals and teams to achieve shared goals and high performance.
