Programme Manager
Location: Remote with Sheffield HQ visits 6 times a year
We are currently looking for a Programme Manager who has experience leading complex, cross-functional programmes within fast-paced, product-led environments.

You’ll be enabling brilliant teams to do their best work. We’re talking about coordinating complex initiatives that deliver educational content to millions, aligning multiple teams across different domains, and ensuring we deliver value quickly and effectively.

You’ll operate across squads, working closely with Engineering, Product, Data and wider business stakeholders to create clarity, remove blockers, and keep delivery moving forward. You’ll balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery support, ensuring both immediate progress and long-term success.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of complex, cross-team programmes that span multiple product, data and engineering areas
- Creating alignment between teams, stakeholders, and business objectives
- Establishing and evolving delivery practices that enable teams to scale effectively
- Managing risks, dependencies, and priorities across multiple workstreams
- Supporting teams in planning, forecasting, and delivering value iteratively
- Driving continuous improvement in ways of working, using data and feedback to optimise delivery
- Communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
You’ll work across initiatives such as:
- Platform Transformation and Modernisation: Coordinating multiple teams contributing to the rebuild of our core platform, ensuring alignment and delivery momentum
- International Expansion: Supporting teams delivering features and content for new global markets, balancing speed with quality
- Product Experience: Enabling cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, user-focused improvements across our ecosystem
What do we need from you?
- Experience delivering complex programmes across multiple teams in a product-led, agile environment
- A strong track record of driving delivery in engineering-focused organisations, working closely with technical and data science teams
- Experience managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholders across large-scale initiatives
- You’re comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level - zooming out to see the bigger picture while also helping teams unblock day-to-day challenges
- You have experience shaping and improving delivery practices, not just following them
- You are confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
- You bring a data-informed approach to delivery, using metrics and insights to guide improvements
- You value cross-functional collaboration and thrive in environments where teamwork and communication are key
- You are passionate about continuous improvement and helping teams perform at their best
