Programme Manager
PFH Technology are seeking a Programme Manager to join our growing team.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our Project Management Office. This is a senior, customer-facing role responsible for leading complex programmes across multiple projects, workstreams, customers and internal teams.
The successful candidate will own programme delivery from mobilisation and integrated planning through execution, transition and closure. They will provide clear governance, senior stakeholder leadership and strong delivery control, ensuring programmes remain aligned to agreed scope, schedule, quality standards and customer expectations.
The role will support delivery across technology service areas such as Infrastructure, Cloud, Microsoft, Digital Workspace, Networking, Security, Managed Services and Enterprise Transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex programmes across multiple projects and workstreams
- Define programme objectives, scope, delivery approach, milestones, success criteria and expected outcomes
- Own integrated programme plans, schedules, dependencies, constraints and critical-path activity
- Establish and maintain programme governance, including steering groups, decision forums, reporting cadence and escalation routes
- Own programme QBRs and Steering Committees, including agendas, governance packs, decision logs, action tracking and follow-up communication
- Provide concise executive updates covering progress, risks, issues, decisions, resourcing and next steps
- Maintain accurate RAID logs, action trackers, programme documentation, audit trails and governance records
- Act as the senior delivery contact for customers, sponsors, senior stakeholders, practice leads and internal delivery teams
- Manage delivery against agreed scope, Statements of Work and customer responsibilities, ensuring changes are governed through appropriate change control and approval routes
- Lead customer governance meetings, programme reviews, workshops and escalation discussions
- Identify, assess, manage and escalate programme risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and blockers
- Drive mitigation, recovery and contingency plans to support timely resolution of delivery challenges
- Coordinate resource demand, capacity and prioritisation across project teams, engineers, practice leads and third parties
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams and provide guidance to project managers, coordinators and delivery teams
- Provide matrix leadership to project managers, coordinators and delivery teams, with clear escalation where resourcing, prioritisation or ownership decisions are required
- Promote lessons learned, delivery assurance, quality improvement and repeatable best practice across the PMO

Candidate Profile
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-project or multi-workstream programmes in a customer-facing environment
- Strong programme planning, governance, reporting, RAID management and dependency-management capability
- Experience managing senior stakeholders, customer governance forums and executive-level communications
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve delivery challenges and drive decisions through formal governance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear decisions and actions
- Strong organisational skills with a focus on delivery outcomes, quality and customer alignment
- Experience working within a structured PMO and applying formal delivery methodologies and controls
- Competent user of project delivery and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, Power BI, Salesforce, PSA/time-recording platforms or equivalent systems
Qualifications & Certifications
Desirable Experience & Certifications
- A recognised project or programme management certification, such as PRINCE2, PMP, MSP or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience delivering technology or professional services programmes
- Experience in IT professional services, systems integration, managed services, or enterprise technology delivery environments
- Experience supporting scope governance, change control, customer acceptance, service transition or project closure activities

- Programmes are delivered with clear governance, accurate reporting and timely escalation of risks, issues and decisions
- Customer stakeholders have strong visibility of progress, dependencies, blockers and next steps
- Scope, change, assumptions and customer responsibilities are actively managed and documented
- Resource demand, dependencies and delivery priorities are clearly understood across internal teams
- Projects transition cleanly through closure, lessons learned and handover activities
