Programme Manager
The Programme Manager will deliver the transformation of the Health Directorate portfolio and support teams to deliver a remodelled service recognizing the differing needs.
Effective Project and Change Management Expertise
Effective project and change management expertise will be required to ensure transformation of services to improve access to services for service users, relatives, and carers. The post holder will set and deploy standards for the delivery of services ensuring that programmes and projects are working towards successful outcomes that are delivered on time and within budget, using best practice methods and high-quality outputs.
Project Management
- Lead the development and delivery of project plans, allocating tasks as appropriate, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, considering best practice and current options and ultimately making decisions in the best interest of the project.
Operational
- To be responsible for the delivery of day-to-day activities and projects.
- To manage and drive delivery of a range of business initiatives and projects.
- To monitor, interpret and quality assure progress against deliverables.

Financial and Physical Resources
- Accountable for managing budgets associated resources and compliance with standing financial instructions and schemes of delegation.
- Develop and take responsibility for delivering of assigned efficiency programmes.
- Budget holder for assigned function/team.

- Line management of employees within portfolio.
