Programme Manager

Our education client is seeking a Programme Manager to support the delivery of a data and analytics dashboard project. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and business analysis experience, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams, translate requirements into actionable deliverables, and ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project delivery, including timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across data engineering, analytics, IT, and business functions.
  • Gather, document, and prioritize business and data requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain project plans, track dependencies, and manage scope changes.
  • Support data quality, validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate dashboard implementation, user training, and change management activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in programme/project management and business analysis, preferably within data, analytics, or technology projects.
  • Strong experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing project timelines, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data governance, and BI reporting (preferred).
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Power BI, or SQL (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or CBAP (preferred).
