DAO Programme Manager

Location: Canary Wharf, UK

Hybrid: 2 Days onsite Per week

Function: Data & Analytics Office (DAO)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead complex, global data and change programmes within the Data & Analytics Office. The role will oversee multiple workstreams and lead Project Managers, Scrum Masters, PMO and other delivery resources across locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end programme delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, benefits and adoption.
  • Develop and execute programme delivery strategy across multiple projects/workstreams.
  • Lead Programme Governance, Steering Committees, reporting, OKRs and benefits realisation.
  • Manage Project Managers, Scrum Masters and PMOs across global delivery teams.
  • Own programme resource planning, budgets, forecasting and financial management.
  • Manage programme risks, issues, dependencies and change control.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across business, technology, operations, risk, security and vendors.
  • Manage third-party contracts and service agreements.
  • Establish delivery dashboards and reporting using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Ensure effective controls, quality assurance and compliance with change and risk frameworks.
  • Coach and mentor programme/project management teams and improve delivery standards.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Programme/Project Management experience, ideally within complex global change programmes.
  • Proven experience delivering platform and data migration programmes.
  • Strong experience with SAS migration, including data lineage, reconciliation, remediation, testing, parallel runs and cutover.
  • Strong financial services / banking domain experience, preferably within a regulated environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of programme governance, RAID, dependencies, change control and benefits management.
  • Experience leading large, distributed teams within a matrix organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior/Executive-level engagement.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies; SAFe certification is advantageous.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
