Location: Sheffield (3 days per week onsite)
Contract: 7 months
Rate: £495/day umbrella only
Overview
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to lead a large-scale DOA and analytics transformation programme. The role involves managing multiple workstreams, delivery teams and strategic data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning delivery execution within the programme as well as having holistic oversight of the product development roadmap and the adoption plans
- Accountable for programme delivery strategy and approach across a series of capabilities / projects or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes
- Accountable for programme reporting, governance and benefits realisation / OKR management to all relevant stakeholders / committees in accordance with Change Framework
- Leading Project Managers / Scrum Masters / PMOs on a high-profile global delivery to ensure commitments are met across budget / benefits / schedule / scope
- Proactively partnering with Product and SMEs in the annual planning and forecasting process
- Accountable for the intake of all new work and the evaluation of new change requirements, facilitating integrated triage to identify requirements, scope and budget
- Drive stakeholder discussions related to delivery strategy, scope, capabilities and budget
- Owning and managing resource plans with Project Managers / Scrum Masters, producing/overseeing indicative pricing and detailed budgets that match a description of deliverables and actual work effort
- Serving as an escalation point to manage risks, issues and dependencies. Provide solutions-oriented consultation to integrated team leads, proactively controlling scope and the change control process, and collaborating with stakeholders to strategically identify and implement solutions
- Manage negotiations and oversee the management and service agreement monitoring of TP contracts
- Using approved change management tools e.g. JIRA and Confluence, to establish delivery dashboards and reports to ensure financial health, live deliverables and performance against KPIs / OKRs
- Partnering with other global Programme Managers and Programme Office to implement the approved DAO vision for delivery management and contribute to the future evolution of the discipline
- Establish effective controls, procedures and quality assurance processes
- Managing and mentoring Project Management / Scrum team members, including resolving escalations, setting and managing performance goals, coaching individual career growth paths and balancing workloads

- 8+ years Programme Management experience
- Data, platform or technology migration experience
- Stakeholder management at senior level
- Governance, RAID and benefits management
- Data migration and cutover planning
- Regulated environment experience
- Global team leadership
- Agile delivery experience
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable
- SAS migration programmes
- SAFe or Scrum certifications
- Data and analytics platform experience
- Change management experience.
