Programme Manager – Events & Training

UK Trade Association

Basic Salary £50,000-£55,000 + Excellent Benefits

Permanent | Full Time

Our client, a leading and highly respected UK Trade Association, is seeking a Programme Manager – Events & Training to develop and deliver an engaging programme of events and learning that supports member engagement and adds real value.

This is far more than an events logistics role. We're looking for someone who understands the marketing, media, advertising or creative industries and can curate relevant content, identify emerging trends, source influential speakers and continually evolve the programme to meet members' changing needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an engaging programme of events and training for members.
  • Curate relevant themes, topics and content that reflect industry trends and member priorities.
  • Continually improve the events programme, reviewing formats, venues, speakers, timings and attendee experience.
  • Deliver a varied programme including roundtables, breakfast briefings, workshops, networking events, dinners and larger industry events.
  • Source and manage high-profile speakers, facilitators and training providers.
  • Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders, partners and members.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of events from planning through to evaluation.
  • Use member feedback and engagement data to shape future programmes and maximise value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
