Are you passionate about marketing, media and advertising?
Are you passionate about marketing, media and advertising? Do you enjoy bringing people together through great events, but also have the curiosity and commercial awareness to identify the topics, trends and challenges that matter most to industry professionals?
ISBA is looking for a Programme Manager
ISBA is looking for a Programme Manager to lead the development and delivery of our events and training programme for UK advertisers.
This is not a traditional events management role. While experience delivering high-quality events is important, we are looking for someone who can also help shape the programme itself. Someone who understands the marketing, media and advertising landscape, spots emerging issues, identifies learning opportunities, engages industry experts and helps ensure our programme remains relevant, practical and valuable for members.
You'll work with senior stakeholders across the industry, building relationships with speakers, trainers, agencies, media owners and subject matter experts to create a programme that helps advertisers navigate a rapidly changing environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
