Programme/Project Manager (PM) in Telecoms

We are currently looking for an experienced Programme/Project Manager (PM) within Telecoms, an area in which we have unparalleled pedigree. Our work within this domain has led to the creation of numerous world-firsts and paradigm shifting technologies.

As you would be joining at a senior level within the organisation, you will have the opportunity to lead programmes that help our clients develop solutions that solve some of the world’s most complex engineering, technology, and design problems including those where we have developed the world’s most dense cellular network for Ocado or the world’s largest commercial airborne antenna for SPL.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the global technology landscape by delivering innovative, world-class projects, while developing your own skills and career within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of complex projects involving multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Play a key role in managing the customer and the customer relationship.
  • Work alongside Business Developers and Technical Leads to uncover challenges and help guide clients to a solution.
  • Collaborate and work alongside various teams from a variety of disciplines which include Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Systems, Radio Frequency, Embedded Software among others.
  • Manage budget performance across multiple projects, ensuring effective planning and delivery.

What you can bring

  • Proven experience as a Programme/Project Manager with the ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving both software and hardware development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management tools and processes. A formal PM qualification (e.g. APM) is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated understanding of multiple project management methodologies, e.g. agile and waterfall.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment where project requirements and technologies continue to evolve.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking when addressing complex technological challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and translating client challenges into deliverable solutions.
  • Ability to scope, shape, and size projects in collaboration with technical experts and subject matter specialists.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire diverse project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance to achieve programme objectives.
  • Experience within telecoms or closely related technology sectors is a plus.
