Programme Manager - Insurance, Transformation, Delivery

Up to £750 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London / Manchester (Hybrid 1 - 2 days per week onsite)

My client is an instantly recognisable brand who urgently require a Programme Manager with demonstrable experience in the Insurance industry with a strong Business Change background, and excellent budget and senior stakeholder management skills to join a critical Programme of work and oversee Delivery ASAP.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Programme Manager / Programme Lead within a highly Regulated Insurance / Financial Services environment
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering Business Change, embedding Transformation activities within business units and overseeing Delivery
  • Proven experience of working on major Transformation Programmes (Claims / Tech Transformation etc)
  • Ability to work autonomously, with focus on rigour and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills (managing relationships with key and senior stakeholders up to C-Suite / Exec level including Board level reporting)
  • Demonstrable experience of large, complex Portfolios / Programmes (consisting of 4+ Projects concurrently)
  • Proven budget management capability (£5million +) with strong awareness of Finance, Forecasts, Actuals etc
  • Flexible approach towards hybrid working

Nice to have:

  • Good understanding of Financial Regulations (IFRS 17 / DORA / GDPR / Solvency II etc), with experience of working on large Regulatory Programmes
  • Familiarity with Operational Resilience
  • Highly proficient in Risk, Resource, and Cost / Benefit management
  • Exposure to working in the Healthcare / Medical sector (in addition to Insurance / Financial Services) with understanding of health journeys and care pathways etc
  • Immediate availability
