Role Description
Programme Manager + Pharmaceutical/ Retail domain
Location: Lincoln (Hybrid)
Contract: Fixed-Term Employment (10 Months)
Start Date: ASAP
UST is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead a high-profile technology transformation programme within a complex multi-vendor environment. You will be responsible for driving programme governance, integrated planning, vendor management and delivery assurance across multiple workstreams, ensuring successful execution against key milestones, dependencies and business objectives.
This role requires a strong leader who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders, including IT Leadership and C-level executives, while coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver large-scale change.
The Role
- Lead end-to-end programme delivery within a multi-vendor environment.
- Establish and govern the Integrated Master Schedule across all workstreams.
- Manage cross-functional and third-party dependencies, risks and critical milestones.
- Drive vendor performance, accountability and alignment to programme objectives.
- Implement robust governance, reporting and delivery controls.
- Provide regular programme updates, dashboards and executive-level reporting.
- Proactively identify and mitigate programme risks, issues and delivery roadblocks.
- Foster collaboration across business, technology, operations and supplier teams.
- Ensure successful delivery of software and hardware deployment initiatives where applicable.

What you will bring
- Proven experience leading large-scale, complex technology programmes.
- Strong programme governance, planning and delivery management expertise.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple vendors and stakeholders.
- Experience with risk, dependency and issue management in enterprise environments.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering programmes using Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
- Experience within the UK Healthcare or Pharmacy. Retail domain experience would be considered.

Nice To Have Skills
- Knowledge of large-scale technology, infrastructure, software or store deployment programmes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
